From Vision to Impact
Aaron Nance is the Founder of iNvest CLT. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides financial literacy, personal finances, and investment skills for youth, ages 12-18. The goal of iNvest CLT is to be the leading catalyst in Charlotte and the surrounding areas, ensuring that every young person gains essential financial literacy and investment skills, paving the way for lifelong financial success.
​The Story Behind a Movement Redefining Youth Finance
Aaron Nance was a former educator, most recently serving as the Division Chair of Education for Clinton College, principal, and teacher who understood the epistemological perspective of youth, and their circumstances in which they were subjected. As a high school dropout who obtained a master's degree in Management and Leadership from Montreat College and completed the critical stages of a Ph.D., earning ABD status, he understood the nuances presented to minoritized communities and youth of divergent ethnicities and backgrounds.

iNvest CLT was created to serve two purposes: (1) to build generational wealth, and (2) to learn how to sustain that wealth long-term. iNvest CLT focuses on the basics of financial literacy; however, our niche is providing youth with the skills, tools, and knowledge to iNvest in themselves and their communities. We are the ONLY nonprofit in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the surrounding area that primarily focuses on investing in youth between the ages of 12 and 18.
