Aaron Nance is the Founder of iNvest CLT. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides financial literacy, personal finance, and investment skills for youth between the ages of K-26. The goal of iNvest CLT is to be the leading catalyst in Charlotte and the surrounding areas, ensuring that every young person gains essential financial literacy and investment skills, paving the way for lifelong financial success.

The Story Behind a Movement Redefining Youth Finance
Aaron Nance was a former educator, most recently serving as Division Chair of Education for Clinton College, a principal, and a teacher who understood youth from an epistemological perspective and the circumstances they faced. As a high school dropout who earned a master's degree in Management and Leadership from Montreat College and completed the critical stages of a Ph.D., earning ABD status, he understood the nuances faced by minoritized communities and youth from diverse ethnicities and backgrounds.
iNvest CLT was created to serve two purposes: (1) to build generational wealth, and (2) to learn how to sustain that wealth long-term. iNvest CLT focuses on the basics of financial literacy; however, our niche is providing youth with the skills, tools, and knowledge to iNvest in themselves and their communities. We are the ONLY nonprofit in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the surrounding area that primarily focuses on investing in youth between the ages of K-26.

Mentoring is a cornerstone of iNvest CLT’s mission. Through intentional mentorship, students connect with investors, founders, and industry professionals who offer real-world insights, guidance, and perspectives beyond the classroom.
iNvest CLT provides a dynamic networking platform for youth ages 12–21 to build meaningful connections, gain exposure to financial literacy and career pathways, and develop the confidence to navigate their future.
